The Impact of Manila Bay As An Internationally Important Waterbird Site

Cristina Cinco, Vice President of Wild Bird Club presents Manila Bay as an internationally important waterbird site. The Philippines is in the middle of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and is a stopover for at least 13.5 million migratory birds that come from the northern hemisphere. Waterbirds, including those of endangered or critical status, will be affected by looming reclamation projects.
